Full-grain leather is stronger and more durable than other leathers. All of the oil-absorbing properties and original characteristics of the leather remain intact. The leather will patina and endure over time and has not been sanded or buffed to remove any marks. The entire thickness of the skin is used. Top-grain leather is still used on luxury goods, but full grain will handle better than any other type of leather and only get better with use.
Developed in the mid-sixteenth century, waxed canvas has truly withstood the test of time and elements throughout generations. It is extremely durable, water-resistant, and breathable. The bags are flexible and more compact when empty. The natural patina that comes with use mimics the aging of fine leather.
